LSU just doesn't produce quality NFL players. Steer clear big tuna. Head for open waters.

Based on last year and the fact that he was a product of Sean Payton's suspension season, I get the feeling that Sean Payton is not a big fan of Travaris Cadet.

Plus, Pierre Thomas will retire as a Saint (most likely) with his new off-season contract.

Best idea ever:

Lets stop adding more RBs to our overcrowded stable unless its a "sproles-like" RB. What's the point of 3-4 RBs on the same squad that can do the same thing?

Because Ingram and Pierre have a history of missing games, Cadet did not contribute much last year, and Robinson is still largely an unknown quantity.

So draft/sign a 1 or 2 down back that ran a 4.8 in the 40?

PT: 1 game missed since 2011 (not including playoffs)

MI: 11 games missed since 2011 (not including playoffs)

He missed 6 his rookie year, 5 last year due to another toe injury, he was held out a while, but I think it was an injury + lack of production type of thing as well.

I think they're both relatively healthy if needed be.

As for Cadet and Robinson, neither have had a lot of reps, but at least Robinson showed he could handle a workload in a game.

I doubt they are drafting this guy. Every Saints RB except Ingram is an UDFA.

I'm sure Loomis is thinking that if somebody wants to draft him, they can have him. It wouldn't surprise me if he is a UDFA target.
