Was 17 I believe so not against the law, still a student though.

How am I a hater for posting facts? Was he not fired by 3 different school districts? Look up the old articles.

Guy said they wouldn't hire Ellis cause St Aug has integrity, well what's the difference between hiring Ellis and hiring Crutchfield who's a real pillar of integrity

Do you know how hard it is for a tenured teacher to be fired from 3 school districts? Most of the time they just move you from school to school and cover up wrong doings. Hell at St James where Crutchfield got fired for giving students the answers to standardized test they have a teacher right now who had warrants out for his arrest, was arrested at school and they can't even get rid of him.

Thank you Lester for that list...

We have had way more than 2. And multiple guys that didnt got LSU but still were big time players.

Regardless how many players we get from there, St Aug is 1 of the top schools in the state when it comes to putting out college athletes. They have multiple guys that go D1 every year. Hell, in like 2004 they had the most players in the NFL out of every high school in the country. And have had 34 players in the NFL since like 1964.... Turner will be 35. Thats 0.7 NFL players per year, almost 1 per year. Thats better than some colleges. Ridiculous for a high school.

I dont think you have a firm grasp of how integrity works. If you hire criminals or people who constantly make bad, damaging decisions, they will eventually screw up and hurt your integrity. It's because you overlooked the obvious and hired the bad person anyway, and put KIDS in harm's way. Basically, that is THE definition of how a school loses integrity.
I love the Catholic church with all that I am, but I know it lost integrity by it's handling of pedophile priests who were allowed to remain in the system.
I respect all of you guys and your points of view, but I'm positive you all know kids are impressional especially by someone who they work with every day, a coach! I don't think it will hurt with die hard LSU loving players, but a player who is undecided and not sure will be steered away from LSU by Ellis...maybe subtley, but it will happen. Someone denying it is very troubling to me.
Much respect to you all for your info!

One she doesn't teach there, she is the public relations person. Two she didn't yell that everytime she saw him, god where do you people get these stories. Once again he is at LSU, so what does that say abou the influence of admin and faculty?

For that particular story, she's was quoted in a legitimate newspaper article saying she was recruiting him for Alabama.

Maybe if Aug stopped hiring criminals as football coaches they wouldn't need a PR person.

Dude Ellis isn't even gonna be on staff much less having to worry about him influencing recruits. Crutch will not and has not steered kids to certain school or away from a school. Also Crutch was vetted real hard and was approved. I'm more than sure all those incidents came up in the interview. How about y'all go ahead and post these articles for the fellas? I don't think he was ever fired but relieved of coaching duties but stayed as a teacher or something

so st. aug. hired the guy that sent his stepson to bama, and he hired the guy who sent his son to a&m, and the guy who pushed devall and/or davis to other schools is/was employed at st. aug. this is all just coincidence and irrelevant. i don't think so.

Lol he sent his stepson to Bama and Ellis his child to am. Their children let that ring in ur ears for a second. And Crutch wasn't up there with devall u jackass. But wait the most heralded recruit he sent to LSU oh no wait he has no bearing on that! Comon man!

5alive, not trying to start an argument with you but NO DAMN WAY CRUTCH SENT LF TO LSU. LF and/or his dad sent him to LSU and crutch didn't play any significant role in it.

Maybe alot...he was still talking with others right up to signing day, correct?

Look, 5, I know you are passionate about St Aug, its obvious and understood. I know it is not easy, but if you step out of your love and look at the situation we all are talking about, you would see why we are saying the things we are saying.
And yes, they are KIDS....some good, some bad....some with their own minds, some who are easily influenced by coaches/handlers.
LF is the #1 recruit in the nation. LSU probably spent more time recruiting him than any other player in the history of the school. LSU has solid principled coaches and is an hour away from his home. They win year in year out and feature the running game as much as anyone. Young players play at LSU if the deserve it. LSU was the best fit for LF, that's why he's a Tiger.

It was an interview with Fournette last year where I believe he said Burns daughter told him Roll Tide every single day at school.

That's enough right there with the way Bama operates on the recruiting trail.

I've known quite a few of HS head coaches in my day...most would have made good used car salesmen/con men...sorry if the truth hurts...it's all about the money and ego, that is unless you haven't grown up yet...and in that case, there's no helping ya'...lol

Serious question for everyone in here except 5alive:

How many of y'all personally KNOW Crutchfield??

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that none of y'all do.. So why are you sitting here trying to convince yourself that he hates LSU!? I know him and talk to him maybe once or twice a week.. I know Brad even better than I know him I just don't see him much since he stays in Bama now..

Those of you saying that he hates LSU honestly don't know shite.. Crutch and Brad have nothing but nice things to say about LSU and especially Miles, and nobody realizes just how close Brad was to coming to LSU.. He honestly wanted to play WR but thought that LSUs depth chart would be stacked against him in the future (now) and Saban promised him that he'd get his chance.. Well that hasn't worked out and while he (Saban) may have not lied to him Brad isn't too happy about his situation in bama right now

So go ahead and believe what y'all want to about them.. Keep trying to convince yourself and everyone else that these two are so anti-LSU.. Sometimes people just do what they think is best for them personally and don't harbor any ill will towards any particular school.. But please, don't listen to what people who are close to the situation have to say

I dont really think anyone has said that Crutch hates LSU... I even said on the 1st page that Crutch has done a good job at remaining unbiased towards certain schools and is there to help the kids out and guide them towards the next level. Very pleased with how he has been.

But Noel Ellis Sr, on the other hand, will have a problem remaining unbiased and being welcoming and respectful towards LSU, considering certain things he has said.

I dont think people here have a big problem with Crutch, more so with Ellis Sr. But it doesnt sound like its been confirmed he will be there and all that. I really have no idea if he will or will not be there next season...
