It was a false alarm. She normally has a spot in fridge where the refridgerated ingredients for the evenings dinner are located. Before i left for kidos baseball practice, I saw chicken breasts and a whole small watermelon. Nothing else in sight seemed to fit. I quit asking questions, a long long time ago.

It wasnt for dinner tho, she made tuna casserole.... None of those ingredients were in fridge. Not fresh tuna.

Hate we missed it. Would have been a hoot. Give us rednecks more than 2 hours notice before you slip into Mecca next time.

GG, you've got time to do the beets...you won't eat before 11 pm anyhow.

I know, but I'm still working and have some other things to do. Probably going to save them for the weekend. They were just picked yesterday.

I expect a detailed report with pics from Peche.

Boss, what's in that tuna casserole? The Catholic version?

I'll report but no pics. 18 year old son is already embarrassed to be associated with me.

Not fresh. She opened some cans. I keep my mouth shut. Noodles, cream of mush soup, canned tuna, french onions, etc. Make-noodles-add canned-ingredients-then-toss-in-a-pyrex-n-bake casserole.

Sometimes, I like those old dishes once in a great while. Every bite ignites a memory.

Otis, there's a reason he's embarrassed, but it's not because you take photos of food.

emboslice WFDT Southwest quiona salad (quiona, black beans, corn, orange bell pep, extra green onions cuz i like gris gris) with an olive oil, lime juice, cumin and S&P dressing. Maybe a glass of wine if I'm feeling frisky.

We eat something similar a lot. I like to add Israeli cous cous, bulgar wheat and hemp seeds. Also in lieu of black beams I like French green lentils.

Let's hope not. The world doesn't need two Otises.
