One of my favorite places to eat in BR is Jazz Daddy's on Old Jefferson off of Highland. Mr. Jerry (owner) is the nicest guy in the world and the Jazz Daddy Special is amazing.

What are the y'alls favorite hole in the wall places to go eat?

As far as fitting definition, Anthonys Italian Deli is pretty good food for the places size.

Sorry, but that food is NOT legit. Dude makes what he calls a "Muffelatta" on a big arse sesame seeded hamburger bun.

Nice guy, glad he makes a living and the people in the area apparantley support him, but the 3 chances my wife and i gave him were all he got, and that was 2 too many.

NOT "legit."

Is the Jambalaya Shoppe on Gov't still open?

My favorite BR hidden gem was the Catfish Acadienne lunch special at the Caterie (RIP)

i live near there and have been a few times. I dont think its a bad place, but it seemed generic to me.

What is so special about the special?
