Can you blame us though?

Yes, because LSU has never run anything resembling a read option offense. So it seems to me that a bunch of people are freaking out because someone hinted at Rivers transferring. And now everyone thinks Rivers was going to be just as good as Mett, when there's no evidence to support that.

Literally no one in this thread said that.

The elder Phillips said we running the read option, and he's just a notch above retard, so just sit back and enjoy the rant doing what it does.

Read option is also probably because all 3 QBs left ran shotgun offenses in high school. They're all young and their footwork might not be up to par under center.

I think LEE = BRAVEHEART. if not, Lee hasn't posted since Jennings won the Arky game. if he's not using an alter, his head might have exploded.

Jefferson could actually run the option pretty well by the time he left.

I look at it as rivers could have been a good qb for the tigers ....
It just so happens lsu has done a great job at bringing in better talent ....

There's no way les and cam doesn't have confidence in Jennings and Harris as far as being able to throw the ball ..... even better than rivers ....

hey dummies, JJ ran the spread option mostly not the read.

The read option is geared more to Shotgun and slinging it.

Mett was pretty bad in 2012. Not because he was a pocket passer.

He had 2600 yds, that wasn't bad.

Rivers transferring will not be a good thing, regardless of how mediocre he may be. That leaves LSU with one QB,the one who really struggled last year in the bowl game and then a true frosh who by all accounts is a bit raw..

He'll be the most experienced QB on the team.

With a true soph who has limited experience, a RS frosh and a true frosh behind him, I wouldn't count anything out as far as number two.
