Well it should tell you something about his chances of improving enough to actually play that after a year under Cameron he's choosing to transfer.

JJ and his feet were the main reason we won 9-6.

No way Lee was winning that game.

Unless this is his desire, I wouldn't put money on it. LSU has one two guys on the roster with any experience and he's got the most.

QB is easily the biggest concern next year.

After years of crappy offenses lead by an "option-style QB" we get a pro-style QB and finally our offense flourishes. Forgive me for cringing a little when I find out that we are abandoning what worked so well and going back to what mostly didn't work.

I love people with selective memory. It's like you've forgotten just how shitty we were on offense in 2012. "option-style QB", uuummm..... The guy you are referring to was a pro style QB coming out of high school. It wasn't until his junior year, that the offense incorporated option plays. It's pretty funny for you to even think we go full option. Option can actually work for this team though, considering we have all the pieces.

All I said was that I would've liked to have seen him compete and take the starting job.

he competed for the #2 job last yr and lost. to a kid that was still supposed to be in HS getting ready for prom and graduation.

dude had a couple of yrs under Kragthorpe, and then 1 under Cam. that's some pretty good QB coaching, but he was always a project and prob just realized that he wasn't overtaking Jennings.

he wasn't going to.

Wanna bet? You also don't recruit Fournette and start a green QB to sling the ball around. Les learned his lesson in 08. He'll be super conservative next year. Like I said, very successful formula and wins a lot of ball games.

This post is full of stupid because immediately after the 08 season, JJ threw the same amount of passes Mett did last year.

TRUE SOPHOMORE JJ

182/296 2166 17/7

REDSHIRT SENIOR METT

192/296 3082 22/8

The difference, one NFL OC/QB coach who has coached great offenses EVERY YEAR. The other OC/QB coach has coached teams, with senior QBs, to one good season then failed every year after because he can't develop replacement QBs. The latter was recently a coaching his kid's little league and now has an OC job at Southern Utah.

Ou offense under Gary Crowton his 1st year set records and we won a MNC. Did you blindly "trust" him after his 1st year. He was also a former NFL OC and our offense was great in 2007. Was GC above question or criticism?

We were warned prior to him coaching that first year, that it was going to be hell.

Can you blame us though?

Yes I can blame you simply because it's asinine to believe that. Because a raw pro style QB with no development looked bad when he was forced to change his playing style, has NOTHING to do with our situation now.

He had 2600 yds, that wasn't bad.

2600 is mediocre, and 12 passing TDs is really bad for a RS junior.

And what was the result? 4 losses. No way Jennings throws the ball 296 times next year.

Yeah, but the QB is black. Gots to run the option with the black dude, the only way.

It is like the folks never watched a Seahawk game and saw just how hard it is to defend Wilson. He aint running the option, but a mobile QB, when well coached can be a nightmare.

I swear to God. Reading the rant makes me want to stick shite in my eyes.

That's the question of the year. Will we get Arkansas AJ or Iowa? Arkansas = SECCG. Iowa = Chicken Bowl.

Real answer, somewhere in the middle.

It will be close, I bet we throw it 20 times a game or so. We threw it 20 against Iowa and we were running it at will.
