Why do you just want to maintain the already limited(by perception or laws) 2A rights we have...What we want is our total 2A rights restored...not just maintained...
Actually, I'm more interested in having my 4th Amendment rights restored at the moment.
The 4th protects the second just as the 2nd protects the 1st.

I feel ya, bro. We should be able to carry fully-automatic weapons on commercial airline flights.
Those are erosions of our 2A rights -- right ?

Whats with all the sensationalist bullshite? Carrying a hand gun on your hip isnt the equivalent of carrying around tactical long rifles.

Because their arguments are emotional based junk.

They are trained by the media. No argument with a reasonable gun owner so they want to make anyone with a reasonable argument seem like an extremist. Munchman has been doing it this entire thread inspite of your refusal to play along. They will repeat and repeat until a few idiots believe them.

That is how they found themselves at the current belief system they have now. Some liberal repeated and repeated until they believed it.

Having a private business or land owner determining what/how firearms are carried on their land on in their business is not an erosion of 2A. That is a private citizen exercising their rights. Now, on public streets, building, land, parks, etc...that is were the gov infringes on 2A rights.

I open carry at Walmart all the time, but I am always in rentacop uniform. Never had anyone think twice about me. Now if I was in plain clothes, I can see people having issues. unfortunately that is what this country has become

This is how most people view the political world. It's a sickening world of email chains and shitty facebook feeds.
Fear is the primary motivator, and I'll say it goes on both sides. The government thrives on fear and misinformation.
Anti gun advocates have done a great job instilling fear in people, sensationalizing events.

Not sure what "private business or land owner" has to do with what I posted.
Airlines don't set rules for firearms on commercial flights. Your U.S government does.
You and the other outspoken 2A supporters on this board need to get busy and "restore" our eroded rights.

Who's arguing to be able to open carry firearms on commercial aircraft?

Much like the turds in here that keep talking about this
when we're so clearly talking about this
And munchman, Im well aware that they are both considered open carry, but if you think they are one in the same, I don't know what else to say to you

Imagine this: the ol' CC class teacher of the OB is pimping conceal carry over open carry. "Open carriers are crazy gun nuts, so call me and I will help you legally hide your gun in your pocket!!!!1"

IMO the only reason to ever open carry in public is to get a reaction unless you really think you might die and the only way out is through the thug crowd.
I open carry, and not for the reasons mentioned above

So I'm confused -- that's you in the yellow shirt with your AR ??

The government has the right as does the state to say yea or no to carrying in their buildings such as schools, post offices, hospitals, etc......
Companies and private owners have the right to limit carrying such as churches, target, walmart, krogers, banks, Burger King, Popeyes, etc.......
The erosion of 2A rights is when the government whether federal or state mandates who and where carrying is legal when they have no direct attachment to that establishment.
Now some idiots think this means carrying their AR, 10/22, or other gun where ever it's allowed but sane literate intelligent people know this means a 9mm, 10mm, .45, .40, or other handgun caliber.

When that retard in the yellow shirt sweeps his muzzle past my junk, can I just throat punch him. Is that constitutional. Seems to be a reasonable enough threat to me, gun pointed at me and all.
