Boards consensus? Watched it over the "snowpocolypse" and i was kind of disappointed. I've heard it hyped so much..
The jizz argument scene was only really funny part. Don't get me wrong it was funny, but it wasn't "Hangover" funny, not to me anyway.

I thought it went on a little too long but the movie is full of amazingly funny line. Kinda reminds me of Pineapple Express in that it got funnier the second and 3rd time around. I just don't watch the end where it gets kinda weird.
I think you should give it another chance. Don't have to watch the whole thing.

Hated it first time. Loved it third time. Subtle one liners that you'll miss if you're playing with your phone or laptop.

I caught most of it on TV. I'm not a fan of overly crude humor, but I heard good things about it. I regret watching it because I have that Channing Tatum scene seared into my brain.

I was kind of shocked by the lack of love it received here (though I don't know why I was shocked given the pretentiousness that reigns here). Easily one of my top 10 favorite comedies. Thought the scene where Franco is getting sucked up into heaven then dropped was one of the funniest ever. The Michael Cera stuff was hilarious. The "rape" scene with Emma was great. Too many to list.

I thought it was the funniest movie I saw in 2013 and I hadn't laughed out loud like that in a long time in the theater.

If they cut out the scene where they run into McBride again, it would be a way better movie. That part just took a weird turn. Overall, I liked it.

As usual McBride stole the show.
I found myself laughing when they zoomed in on his boot in his first scene, with the smoke coming out form the tub. Just because I knew instantly that it was McBride in the tub. I was laughing.
Ranking of funniest characters in the movie
McBride - "I know why you guys don't hang out with me anymore....Its cause I party so fricking hard"
Franco - "I was nice enough to show you this nice magazine, and you went and jizzed all over the pages"

I thought it was a really funny movie. The ending was where it fell off. They also could've down we'll without bruchal. IMO he isn't funny at all and his awkward demeanor gets really annoying after a while especially in the movie. Overall, I'd say it was worth the watch.

I watched it during that same time, but I loved it. There were so many scenes and bits that had me rolling: everyone discussing Jay's desire to rape Hermoine, the scene with the Cannibals, The Exorcism of Jonah Hill, the musical finale, ect
It was one of the few comedy movies I've seen in the past year that really exceeded expectations.
