To me The Sopranos is GOAT

I love both of these shows a ton.
However, I say the Wire and it's not even close because of the enormous breadth and span of that show. Over 300 characters and more story lines than you can count. Not to mention the layers that are added each season.
It's a phenomenal commentary on the dark and flawed side of the American Dream, the way that the institutions we created now control us.

I'd go with sopranos. I just recently got done with the wire, while good, I didn't think it was the best series ever like most

I'd watch The Sopranos first then The Wire after.
I think those shows are the two greatest dramas ever with The Wire being #1.
Since I think The Wire is better I'd save it for last.

I'd go with The Wire. Both shows are amazing though in their own right. The Sopranos has the better cast performances, but The Wire has the more engrossing storyline.
