If it weren't for RG3, BU would still be playing in front of tarps. Didn't they call Floyd Casey Kyle Field North? Baylor shouldn't bag on TCU too much. Only reason BU made the Big XII was because of politics.

If the fiesta bowl was a better matchup Baylor fans would travel better. Who the frick wants to watch their team play a directional school in Florida?

Who the heck wants to see their team play Baylor?

how about this?

Your first pic is a 2009 game against UNLV before the stadium remodel, and who knows what quarter it was in. What you don't know is that the following home game that year TCU set their attendance record of 54k against Utah.

Second pic is this year's game against SMU where it rained hard all game.

Third pic is another shot from this year's Kansas game, in the 4th quarter.

Fact of the matter that since the stadium remodel there have been 12 games at the new stadium and 7 of the games have been sell outs. 2 sellouts in 2009 including the attendance record of 54k, and 4 sellouts in 2010.

I could cherry pick a picture of the LSU/Auburn game this year when the stands were empty at Tiger Stadium but it wouldn't really prove that LSU sucks at attendance.

Uhh, Briles is a class act and has overcome a great deal to get to where he is.

You seem to be listening to the Gary Patterson propaganda

Yeah, the feeling is mutual, Baylor is the 4th biggest 'name' school UCF will play this year. Sugar Bowl would have been more interesting.

Goldennugget, I understand your going to stick up for your employer TCU but honestly TCU has NO ROOM to talk attendance smack.

I mean just look at those pictures from this season, that is early 2000 Baylor bad.

A&M fans just come into to Baylor threads to troll.

The disappearing middle class is an unspoken reason for the dwindling attendance. Greedy corps and non profits have sold their souls for the TV dollar and they don't even create good match ups for compelling TV.

When the games were all on New Years and affordable people could work in a special trip to reward themselves. I'd never use my few vacation days to drop $8-10K to go watch a bowl game.

Maybe the playoff will help, but I doubt it because only a few games won't be meaningless and fans can't be expected to make 3 bowl like trips when making 1 is becoming increasingly hard to do.

Your obsession with Baylor and trying to knock them at every opportunity is disturbing. For a school that means nothing to you and that's not "in the same league" (literally & figuratively) you sure do spend a lot of time in threads involving them as a topic and talking them down instead of talking up TCU. They're living in your head apparently. You need to seek counseling.

Or to drop harsh reality...like the fact that, with your Heisman winner, and with your final opportunity to beat Aggy before they left for the SEC, your fans couldn't make the harsh 90 mile trek to College Station and couldn't sell your allotment of tickets...

It sounds like the fans of teams who used to take the week off when they played Baylor, now get their arse kicked, and they don't like it......
