It's not a shocker really, he was a walk on and Davis Webb was the scholarship freshman who played just as good. Good luck to the kid though

He wanted a scholarship and was "promised one" by KK. Can you imagine being the starting QB for a Big 12 team and can't participate with your teammates in team activities due to your scholarship status?
And it's already been ruled he can't transfer within the Big 12.

That is just an epic fail by texas tech. Wtf are they doing up there? They ran off two coaches and now the starting quarterback.
