Buy yourself some deep in the money Jan 2017 UNG calls. Wait for a dip. Forget it. At some point sell to close for a gain. In the money leaps right now, even after today's small run up aren't fetching a lot of premium.
It's a trade. It's a trade based on some decent fundamentals. It's low risk. It stands a chance for a very good return, and maximum possible loss. It's not something you'd need to watch every day. It's not sexy. It's not flashy.
Are you in it to win it? Give yourself a chance at a decent return and limited loss. The limited loss is known to everyone. Not like setting a stop loss on these etfs and etns, where every market maker can see it, and will rip your head off given the chance.
Just a suggestion. All I'm saying is that if you don't know how to read at least level 2, and you aren't a technical guy, you're likely to lose day trading this stuff in the long run. And day trading is work. It is a job.

Don't do this right now. Or go ahead and do what you wish, but I'd suggest you put your $5K elsewhere. Natty gas is a trade, and it's awfully choppy right now. Wait for the trade to develop, or go long leaps either direction on rises and drops.

Bump.
UWTI up 8% so far this morning to around 2.30 and UGAZ is currently flat at 1.85. Anybody looking at trading these today? Lots of uncertainty out there.
