Natty Gas Holiday -

26-28 November 2014, Regular trading starting on Sunday night. Equity dark pools will be open from Friday all weekend long is you have access, so you can trade etf's all weekend long if you can find a market.

Could be higher net withdrawal, but I think 140 is fair. Should put an end to the bear for at least a day. Thanksgiving morning should be fun.

I went long a long tome ago. December has higher than normal temperatures projected. Some are saying by year's end we'll only be 2.5% below 5 year storage averages.

I think long is good, but I'd pick a price point on the etf that represents natural gas at $5.00, or at least above $4.50.

I have no idea what price point on an etf represents the price of gas. LSU The Force seems to have it figured out for UGAZ. UNG? I just picked $21 and went in, because again, I went in early.

Having said that, I might buy some weekly calls on UNG based on -140 Wednesday.

December settlement was violent. Cash stands down a quarter @ $4.06, and January is trading @ $4.30.

I think we see another run toward end of week on UGAZ......any price point below 14.50 should make 25% for you......

I have zero inside info on what could or would move the price, but have been successful in trading the 13-16 range for a few months and feel the same. I bought UGAZ yesterday at 14.1 and a few Jan calls this morning.

from Dow Jones
'Traders have turned more than ever to ETFs that promise bigger-than-average prices moves in the recent natural-gas volatility. More than 60 million shares of the VelocityShares 3x Inverse Natural Gas ETN (DGAZ) changed hands last Thursday, a record since the ETN launched in February 2012, according to FactSet. DGAZ is engineered to move in the opposite direction of futures prices, meaning that its price has climbed 21% over two days as gas has stumbled.

The other side of the coin is the VelocityShares 3x Long Natural Gas ETN, which traded a record 23 million shares last Wednesday"

not certain of direction, but confident about more volatility
