Mad Men if you're nostalgic for the good old days... When men were men, and smoking in the office wasn't bad for you.

Mad Men is one of my favorite shows. It's very character driven and slow. I love it because i find the time period very interesting. Never seen the other 2.

If you don't need violence to enjoy a TV show and apperciate character development, Mad Men is for you. Out of the three, by far the best show acting and story wise. It's a slow burn at times, but really enjoyable.
Sons and TWD don't hold a candle.
If you like The Shield and would enjoy a watered down version of it,watch Sons.
If you were a fan of LOST and would like to keep watching LOST, watch TWD.

SoA went to shite after the s3 finale, and TWD is garbage compared to the comic. I've never seen any of Mad Men.

Mad Men takes a bit to get into, but once you get a feel for the characters it's some great TV.
I'm watching SOA right now, on season 4, and it's pretty good. It's addictive.
Walking Dead has highs and lows. I'm a sucker for anything horror related though, so I like it.

I've yet to watch the Walking Dead. From what I've read from fans, I'm not sure I want to. They seem to almost hate the show.
Mad Men is a slow build, but it's very good. I think it has to catch you in the right mood initially.
I've quit watching Sons of Anarchy. I just didn't care about the characters or storylines anymore. I don't know what it was. It feels like it should have wrapped up already. I tried to watch the premiere this season, and I couldn't make it through the episode. I may catch up later. I don't know.

TWD is good if you like zombies/horror. However, it will plod along slowly for about 3/4 of each episode with a sometimes feeble attempt at character development. Then give you some great zombie killing action for the rest of the episode.

watch the pilot for each one and which ever one you like the most, continue.
enjoy The Walking Dead

Depends.
Mad Men is a character driven show. Slow at times but the best tv show of the three listed.
If you want an action packed, popcorn type show then SOA and TWD are excellent for that. TWD is the better of those two.
A little about each show.
Mad men is based on an ad agency and the big wigs that work there. set in NYC. I think it began set in the 50 but they are getting to the 70s now. It basically just follows the characters lives and their struggles. Lots of character development.
SOA is based on Hamlett. It is about a motorcycle gang with a lot of history. They run guns and do other illegal things. The main character Jax is the VP and the President is the man that may or may not have been involved in killing his father. The president is also married to jax's mom. If you watched the shield and enjoyed it, you'll enjoy this one. Sutter is the guy running SOA and he was a big part of the shield.
The walking dead....basically a survival show. But not just surviving zombies. It was initially, but now the bigger threat is other fellow survivors and the zombies are honestly the secondary threat.
Not sure if you watched Breaking Bad, but I think that is on netflix and superior to the shows you've listed. house of cards is also outstanding and a quick watch as they've only had one season.

Mad Men is fantastic
Walking Dead is bad
Sons of Anarchy is an abortion. A tribal-tatted girl in a gas station bathroom with a rusty junkyard coat hanger abortion.

First two much better than that ridiculous motorcycle show

I love SoA. This is one of the best seasons by far. They have had some lack luster seasons (one maybe two) but for the most part its addicting

I like all three for very different reasons.
I'll throw in a 4th show, if you haven't watched "Justified" go start it now.

Sons started really well. Now, I wish everyone would die. Aside from C-Note and Chibs, I don't like any of the characters.

I loved The Walking Dead until they left the farm and went to the prison. The prison got old quickly for me. The end of last season was not very good IMO and I haven't watched the first half of this season.
I just can't get excited enough about it to watch it.
