How many Schaub, Cushing, and Foster jersey wearers do you think are out in the stadium tonight? How much money combined do you think went into the purchase of those jerseys? This is why I don't advocate being a jersey wearer on top of the fact that it just seems ridiculous that one grown man would wear another grown man's clothes, or the likeness of the other grown man.

DWI.

ETA: Just to make sure, if you aren't watching the game or live under a rock in terms of NFL information, Cushing, Schaub and Foster are all not playing tonight and yet the Texans are still playing well and winning.

Wearing a jersey is the exact same thing as a chick getting a "Rachel cut."

I actually believe this, mostly because it is a totally accurate comparison.

If they paid more than 20-25 apiece, they're doing it wrong.

It's laughable that most of you think jerseys are stupid, but polos with Texans logos are okay. You don't work for them, so why is a polo okay?

I was wondering where all the anti-jersey posters were.

Jesus Christ...two threads in one day worrying about what people wear? 2 of the 3 are hurt...do you stop supporting players because they are injured? Did it make you cringe to see Peyton jerseys in Indy when he was out while having neck surgery?

Wearing a polo shirt = wearing a Ralph Lauren jersey.

My dad gave me an Aikman jersey for my 19th birthday to mark the new dawning of Dallas football. It was 1989.

I wore it that year to the Superdome and watched Dallas get destroyed 28-0 on opening day.

I wore it to two consecutive Super Bowls that my dad and I attended together.

I've worn it during just about every game since. I wore it today.

But my father is dead now, and all I have are my memories. And the jersey he gave me.

So don't hate. And stop trying to take my father away from me.

Alternately...piss off and quit worrying about what other men wear.

I bought a Robbie Gould Bears knock off jersey in high school because I knew he'd be the kicker for at least a decade. I never wear it because I'm a grown man now, but the idea was good.
