Do explain... Is it too white now?

I notice the ones hating on this stadium are Saints fans.

Color me shocked.

I'm sure if New Orleans had enough money to afford a new stadium they probably would. Yea, the SuperDome is an "icon" but it's still old as frick and ugly as shite.

Why was the Georgia dome even built to begin with? It's less than 20 years old, and it's already outdated??

Without it the Peach Bowl was done.

Fulton County stadium was horrible for football and being torn down anyway.

Georgia Dome sucks. But so does the Superdome, DetroitDome, VikingsDome, and any other damn dome IMO.

Unless this is more open air than dome, I will hate it as much as the GA Dome.

Every thread about this odd new stadium is the same.

"Hey, I don't get it. It doesn't look like much of an improvement over the Georgia Dome, and what's wrong with the Georgia Dome anyway?"

"HAHA. SHUT UP, HATER SAINTS FAN!!!"

I think the new stadium is interesting looking, but count me among those who don't think it will be worth the price tag. I have been in the Georgia Dome several times (most recently at the Peach Bowl) and it is fine (not great, but not awful).

It is just stupid to spend that much money on a new stadium when you have a serviceable one. What a waste of resources. Atlanta is moving in the right direction, and there is a LOT that the city could do with that money (and yes, I realize the city isn't footing the whole bill).

This guy has obviously not been to the superdome or the area around it since the renovations.

Exactly why I don't want to see it go for a very, very long time. It's one of the most recognizable stadiums there is as well. It absolutely has its faults, but I love the place, and history has a lot to do with that.

This is the kind of stuff I'm interested in. I like going to the SEC Championship but there is nothing unique or interesting about the Georgia Dome. It's kept up and functional but not an exciting place to walk into. I think that's why it's feeling outdated so soon. New stadium looks great.

It's amazing what homerism can do to you. The fact that this is what you got out of this thread is incredible.
