Not his main point in this, but he's dead on regarding Bama's e-z permanent schedule.LINK

Complaining about Florida vs Tennessee is wrong. It is what detracts from the real argument.
Just accept that it's cyclical.
What is the problem and should be screamed to high heaven about is the custom made bridge schedules approved for Alabama in 2012 and 2013.
Taking SEC East favorite Georgia off of Alabama's schedule and replacing them with Mizzou (that was projected 4-5) in 12 and Kentucky (projected last) this year was just criminal. At the same time LSU got USC and UGa, meaning we got two of the top three teams in the east.
The fact that this change was made knowing the relative strength of Tennessee vs Florida (ie that Bama already had an easier schedule than LSU) and the fact that the process was overseen and approved by an individual who was raise in Tuscaloosa, went to Alabama and worked there was a blatant conflict of interest.
Even if it was spit out by a computer, his job was to have the final say and it showed a lack of integrity that he allowed this schedule that was contrary to the competitive spirit of the league to happen. If he either needed to do what was right, or recuse himself.
And the Gump fans don't have any honest or valid arguments to counter this, so they spout out its crying, whining or "bama-cessed".
It appears some LSU fans are falling on board.
Sorry but LSUs fans calling out the farce of an undeserving Gump team being in the BCS title game in 2011 and the shenanigans in the league office that paved them an easy path (which was the difference bc LSU/Bama/A&M were 1-1 head to head) to the BCS title game are far more valid than the gumps claim to national titles and being the "best" team in 2011 and 2012.
This aggression shall not stand!
The world has a way of setting itself right....as long as the NCAA does its job
Just accept that it's cyclical.

at least bama scheduled one decent OOC team. aggy has 4 of the weakest cupcakes in college football and they also only play bama and lsu with none of the eastern powers. it makes a huge difference because even if you win the two eastern contests your team is banged up mentally and physically. the wear and tear on the team is horific.
also, when this years "temporary" schedule is complete, what is replacing it? looks like the "new" temporary schedule is for two years only. i guess bama can milk this as long as it wants to.

Dont forget Bama got an extra SECW home game in 2012 for no apparent reason.

Thank you sir.
I live in alabama, and had a discussion yday that points out how delusional Gump fans are.
In talking about their 2011 and 2012 schedule and pointing out how weak they were vs east division teams, his response was "well we played Arkansas and Mississippi state"
I pointed out the obvious that they we both played SEC west opponents.
His reply was "well, we play them before y'all and made them quit"
I informed him that in 2011 we played MSU before they did. And in 2012 yes, MSU was 7-0 vs an extremely soft schedule, then ran into Bama, A&M and LSU three straight weeks.
As for Arkansas they played Bama week 3 in 2011, then won 8 straight and lost to LSU....guess it was delayed making then quit.
And in 2012, well they were 1-1 having lost to ULM the week before (also threw in remark about what type if coach would lose to Ulm that went over his head)
As with most Gumps, at this point he was perplexed and fell to the old standby of all time SEC records

As weeks go by this loses more and more steam.
The main points were Bama didn't play UGA, UF and USCe.
Florida continues to have their reputation proceed their game with LSU fans. This UF team is an 8 win team. This is not the mid 2000's when UF rolled into BTR with a number 1 ranking and LSU was number 3. These days it's different. UF is not much more than average.
UGA-Already lost to Clemson, won against UT on the luckiest of luck plays ever. Georgia did nothing to stop UT in OT and would have lost. It is obvious Mizzou is better than UGA today.
USCe-They are South Carolina. Big deal.
Heck, LSU is lucky they don't have to play Mizzou.

Curious...
How did Bama get OM at home 2 yrs in a row?

You never made a counter argument. You just evaluated the teams on our schedule through your biased eyes, you're missing the point. It's the process, not the results.

Right now it looks like getting Mizzu could be a big mistake. Alabama might be getting more than they bargained for.

Per usual a Gump has no clue WTF they are talking about. I would love to have to play UGA this week, I would make that trade any day. Played UF 2 weeks ago and played UGA this week with all the players they have lost in the last 2 weeks. But it is what it is, we played them when they were healthy and we lost.
That doesn't change the facts that there are unfair scheduling advantages year after year that benefit the Gumps. Of course you want to keep Tenn on your schedule because it has been like playing the little sisters of the blind for the past 10 years. Hey let's switch, you guys take UF every year and we will put UT on the schedule. You guys would scream bloody murder. Take all of the possibility of scheduling inequities out of it having rotating teams for both SEC east games each year. Make it so no one can complain, make it fair to all parties not just the gump assholes in gumpville!!!
