You're really going to try to say Jefferson was a better passer than Lee and claim facts?
I don't claim facts, there there for everyone, so don't talk shite, look it up.

I don't have a horse in this race.
Lee surely had a cleaner release and motion.

quote:

Did you watch JJ's last two games? Did Lee ever have games like those two?
I recall much worse, he was fortunate enough to get pulled before it ruined your image of him.

2011 Lee and JJ were good to a certain level of D and then the bottom dropped out.
It's not worth bickering over, I'm stating the record that's there for you to see instead of spewing opinion.

they absoultely would have been much better had Cameron been at LSU

i think lee's success in '11 (before JJ came back) proves this. we were throwing the ball down the field and discouraged loading up the box via the run. i don't think JJ or JL were as good as mett but our play calling was as predictable as a manhattan prostitute. our offense had gone from outsmarting ourselves under crowton to stale as hell under stud.

I looked them up, you might want to.

I'll assume you are referencing the pic 6 year. In 2011, JL was a much better QB than JJ, and it's not debatable. Use some of those facts you claim everyone can see to tell me I'm wrong.

What record? Because completion percentage, TDs and INTs all point to JL being the better of the two.

How can you compare stats throwing away two games? One of which Lee totally bombed in.

We played the 2-QB system well in 2011. I can't imagine anyone who isn't sick of this debate... all I have to throw out is that playing Lee against Bama on 1/9/12 would have been disastrous. Game would have been 40-0 instead of 21-0.

games in 2011 where Lee played versus the ones Jefferson played (throwing out Bama and Ole Miss),
What nice cherries!

Didn't you say the facts back you up?
You're being a 'tard over this, but yes they do. Career stats, not minus the worst games, plus the best games.
Both were Tigers and did about as good as they could, considering the coaching.
Lee likely had a higher ceiling than JJ, if he'd got his head right.

Because Mett played half the Ole Miss game and JJ and JL split the Bama game.

Adding them wouldn't make it any better for JJ over the season, but if you'd like to,
quote:

Lee completed 3 of 7 passes for 24 yards and Jefferson completed 6 of 10 passes for 67 yards.

The coaching staff decided that a power run game, defense, and special teams were all more important than a competent passing game, so the needs of our QBs were but on the backburner.

And, given what they were working with, they were obviously wise to have done so.

Robert Smith was just giving Mett some serious love on college football live. Hell must be freezing over.

JJ and JL were too flawed for them to ever have been more than mediocre QB's regardless of the OC or QB coach.

Agree about JJ but not about Lee. The kid had talent, but he was never coached up to his potential. Did you forget that he actually led the SEC in passing efficiency for much of the 2011 season? Sure he had his flaws, but many of his troubles were as much the fault of the coaches as they were his own.

JJ on the other hand should never have been starting at a top program like LSU.

Here dude, since you want to duel.
Career stats, which is what I refereed to originally.
JJ
GP Comp Att % Yds TD INT TD% INT% Y/G Y/A RAT
42 397 678 58.6 4733 34 20 5.0 2.9 112.7 7.0 127.8

JL
GP Comp Att % Yds TD INT TD% INT% Y/G Y/A RAT
39 317 565 56.1 3949 32 21 5.7 3.7 101.3 7.0 126.1

There you go, no huge expanse between the 2.
More like horseshitee vs Cowshite, but my post stands true.

Mett has made more progress with Cam in 1 offseason than Lee or Jefferson did in 3 years. I absolutely blame the qb coach/oc for not developing them.

Don't care about career stats. In 2011. Lee was better than JJ, and any dip shite could see it. The only reason you want to use career to compare is because of 2008, which JL should not have even been playing except for an injury.

Maybe so, but lack of QB development cost them the NC in 2011.

You're digging yourself deeper.
Mett didn't play near 1/2 of OM- with no attempts, JJ was 100% comp and @260RAT is why the eject.
JL played a very bad 1/4 vs Bama, @15RAT is another eject.

Why don't you kick out all the games JL/JJ split time?
Better yet, just drop the dumb shite.

they were better QB's than many fans gave them credit for. The offense we ran made me sick. Was predictable, with poorly designed plays, and poorly executed. With a good o coordinator I think they would have done much better.

No I excepted they weren't really SEC caliber QB's very very early in their careers

Even though I still thought JJ would "come around" before Shadys I knew he wasn't very good
