re: ECCO biom zero golf shoes (Posted on 8/19/13 at 7:07 pm to Coater)
Support in a shoe is over-rated. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis several years back. Read all about arch support, etc. to treat it. About that time barefoot running was coming into vogue. After much reading, I decided that the human foot was designed to go barefoot. I have since gone minimalist in shoes and my feet feel much improved. Played golf a few times in my Vibram five-fingers and never had such good traction as when all your toes can grip the ground. Too cold when cool and wet though. Now wear True Linkswear minimalist shoes and, for the most part, like them. Would probably prefer the ECCOs by the look of them.
