I just found out Home Depot has College Buckets 3 pack for sale ($12.00).

I order LSU ones for house to use as a cooler

I also order some Alabama ones to make portable toilets out of.

Fill with rocks and artificial crawfish bait. Tie rope to handle, throw in water to hold fish.

Get a bucket buddy for one of them. It is the best solution for a toolbox I have found.

I throw a 30 qt trash bag in a couple and set them up on the table when serving crawfish.

Prevents dragging a trashcan around and over filling the bag with so many shells that it's too heavy and rips.

Bait bucket
as a sink for the camp
You can take the drilled hole idea, cut and glue the tops of 20oz coke bottles on the inside to make a throat and can make a bunch of minnow traps with them.

A hole in the bottom of one and a broom handle can rig up a deer feeder pretty easily

Do they have them in store? I'm too close to going to Italy to have anything shipped to my apartment.

Drill a hole in side of bucket close to the bottom. Thread your long extension cord male plug end through hole - long enough to reach your electrical plug. Coil the extension cord up in the bucket. Keeps it neat, properly stored and convenient to carry around the yard or jobsite. when the cord is coiled in the bucket for storage, just put lid on bucket and you are done. This will easily store a 150-200 foot extension cord. Normally the cord won't kink or get twisted or tangled up when you pull it out the top. Cord goes back in quickly and easily.

Bury it in the ground beneath your deer stand with charcoal in it, then run a tube up the deer stand leg into the stand. Attach a funnel to the end of the tube. BOOM, instant urinal.

Hold old oil from oil changes.
Use as stools on occasion.
Haul stuff.
I use one to hold my most used hand tools for ease of toting around.
And.....other stuff.
