Sad to think this guy was one of the greatest players to ever come out of high school, and how he threw his career away with PEDs.

I actually really liked him when he was in Seattle. I still have like 10 rookies cards of him haha. I liked him up until he left for Texas and lied on his way out the door. Oh well, we won 116 games the year he left.

The Yankees are giving money to the investigation team so he can get a lifeitme ban and they won't have to pay him

How would they justify a lifetime ban? Even if they treat his original PED use as a first offense, the second strike is supposed to be 100 games. And there's no provision for upping it to a lifetime ban for lying.

If they try to use the "best interests of baseball" clause, it's going to look comical. There have been plenty of other occasions where they could have done that and didn't.

It can't happen, but it would be glorious. But then again, the thought of the yankees dumping tens of millions of dollars in bitch tit's bank account for the next several years is also nice.

I was at his first game back too

The funniest thing I saw done was some dude in the front row by the on deck circle was decked out in fisherman's gear with a fishing pole. He stuck a dollar on it and cast it in front of A-Rod when he was on deck

Yeah, they'll ban him now because no one gives a shite about him.

MLB's moral high ground on all the steroid stuff is obnoxious.

Yeah, "Braun is suspended for the rest of the year... now that the Brewers are irrelevant to 2013... even though this information has been readily available for at least months."

It's all posturing and stupid.

Why should they have to pay him? The Yanks weren't handing out roids and needles to him.
