easy question. what is the best drink you have ever mixed?

Mine was about 20 minutes ago. Classic whiskey sour (with the egg white).

1 part Jack Daniels
1 part fresh lemon juice
1/2 part simple syrup
1 egg white

shaken with ice in a mixer, strained into a chilled lowball glass. Was the best I've ever made. Spectacular.

So what is the best you have ever done?

You know, I've never tried it with the egg white. I should get on that.

I don't know what you call, but it's

Vodka
Pineapple Juice
Grinadine
Sprite
Malibu

It's more of a punch & definitely a summer drink.

If you decide on another do a "dry shake"

i.e. before you shake it with ice, shake it without ice. Egg whites tend to foam better at room temperature than they do cold. It's a pain in the arse but try it that way and then shake over ice after you get a foamier liquid. Will take it to an even higher level. Then you can say that THAT was the best drink you ever made.

I made a milkshake out of Mudslide mix, extra vodka, and cookie dough ice cream.

This is a champagne cocktail recipe I thought I'd pass along. Beware of how harmless the drink sounds, it's a killer.. You might see variations of the Flirtini recip, but this is the original from the New York City restaurant, 'Guastavino'.

Guastavino's Flirtini

1/2 oz Stolichnaya Razberi vodka
1/2 oz Triple Sec
A splash of lime juice
A splash of cranberry juice
4 raspberries (optional)
Roederer Brut Champagne
Sprig of mint

Muddle four raspberries in the bottom of a martini glass. Shake the first five ingredients vigorously, strain into glass. Top off with Roederer Brut Champagne. Garnish with a sprig of mint. Color should be a golden yellow.
