I don't know. What do you think, Bosh?

Unless they pick a guy who plays major minutes for them, I don't see them getting back to the Finals. Four straight years(in the Finals) is a lot of wear and tear on that team. It's not impossible, but it's been a long time since that has happened.

I think they will be back. The East is weak. I know Indy took them to 7, but I do not think that happens again. I think the Heat beat Indy in 5 or 6 if they meet next year. There is some bad blood there now and I think the Heat showed they can crush Indy when they need to.
The Bulls with Rose won't matter. The Heat have already shown they can completely shut Rose down with LeBron on him.
No one in the East beats the Heat. The Knicks may be their toughest competition next year though.
Last team to make it to 4 straight finals was the 1984-1987 Celtics with a LOADED roster including Bird, McHale, Parrish, Ainge, Dennis Johnson, and Bill Walton for all or part of the run.
The Lakers would have made it to 7 straight from '83-'89 if not for the miracle game by Sampson/Dream in 1984.
And of course the Bulls would almost certainly have made it to 4 straight if not for the no-call when Pippen got fouled on the last second shot against the Knicks in Game 7 the year MJ retired.

This was a bill Simmons trade machine comment on the pod a few months ago:
The heat can't get rid of wade because he's wade. Bosh catches a lot of crap and is better than he gets credit for. It's amazing that he shoots some 10% better from 3 than wade off the top of my head. But bosh would be best in the pick and pop/roll and he doesn't do that very much in Miami.
Miami calls up the kings and offers bosh for Demarcus (affectionately referred to as Boogie) Cousins. The heat go under the cap and save a ton of cash because the luxury tax multiplies for every consecutive year you're over. They actually have money to play with and fill out the roster. Boogie boards all day and is a legit center defensively. The only thing holding him back is being insane, and if anybody could alpha male him into submission it would be wade and Lebron. Even if he goes nuts he's not that expensive, and its not like his value could go down.
Kings get rid of their biggest headache and build around bosh and the 7 pick. It's not a great solution, but its better than what they're doing now. Tyreke Evans probably walks away, but he's hasn't panned out anyway. Bosh is probably a lot better trade chip at Christmas than cousins ever could be.

Very interesting. Thanks for the info.

That's an extremely risky trade.

Honestly if they did that trade and wade and lebron could get him to calm down and be a team player that would be HUGE for the future of Miami. Demarcus cousins is very young and is getting better and could help the heat continue to be dominant.
But.. who would play the 4? Bosh hits over 50% of his shots from 16-23 feet and would be greatly missed. He's a key piece to the heat's offense even though it doesn't show on the stat sheet.

But.. who would play the 4?
None of this matters though. They aren't trading Bosh in the off season. The bigger questions are what happens in 2014 with lots of looming retirements and contract opt outs.

In fact, Lebatard was saying on the radio today Micky Erickson (Heat owner) is losing money and will take a bath the next two years.
He's not losing any money, and if he is...doesn't matter in the NBA.
Why do you think a group of investors was willing to pony up $500 million for the Kings, and were even willing to spend another $400 million on a stadium? And, that was without public funding. Most NBA team stadiums are publicly funded.
Why would a group of investors want to spend that kind of money on a team to "lose" $20-$30 mil every year?
It's accounting, bruh. Roster depreciation. Purchase price ammortization, etc. etc.

I wanna see DRose destroy that bitch.
Don't hold your breath. Spoelstra will just stick LeBron in his face and shut him down. You must not remember the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals when Rose shot 35% and turned it over 19 times in 5 games. I'm sure Rose remembers real well. There's a reason he chose not to play in round 2 vs. the Heat this year despite being medically cleared to play.
