How much better, if any, is Howard than Guzan? (Percentage wise)

I would say 10-10%, but I am impressed with Guzan. I see him overtaking Howard in next few years.

Howard had one of his poorer seasons at Everton, and Guzan was pretty damn impressive in spite of the numbers of goals he allowed. I think they are very close.

Agreed that Guzan had a better season this year. However, with the national team - and a fairly inexperienced back 4- Howard's experience is very important to our team going into next summer.

Agree, Guzan seems content playing as Howard's back up. A lot of longevity at that position, he knows his day will come.

Howard gets frustrating when he just screams like crazy. It's funny though because I did the same thing as a centerback in my soccer days. The worst feeling in the world is watching guys let men slip right past them. I'm sure that feeling is even worse as a goalkeeper.

He let in a near post goal vs. Ghana or we win 1-nil in regulation in the 2010 World cup I think we would have beaten URUGUAY in the quarterfinals.

Howard is extremely overrated. He screams like a little girl even when he's at fault. At the moment, I think Guzan is better.
I'd love to see him yell at superstars on big teams like Bayern, Barça, Citeh, Real, etc if he played for them. They'd tell him to go frick himself.

I think Guzan is a bit better as a reactive shot stopper.
I think Howard is generally better with positioning, communication, and definitely crosses. He is also better with the ball at his feet.
They are both good keepers. Neither is top 10 in the world, or that close to it.
