Me either. But I do thousands of miles in a sailboat about fifteen miles a trip twice a week. Which according to dipshits who think a power pole is an extension of their dick makes me somehow less cool than them while I look at most powerboaters as ignorant dangerous idiots that know practically nothing about boating.

And if I buy another power boat, it's gonna be a pontoon boat. They're just practical as hell. And way the frick faster than how I normally get anywhere although nowhere near as soul replenishing. And the wife prefers her boating where she doesn't have to walk on the walls every now and then.

I don't get the obsession with speed. For transportation? yeah....for enjoyment on the water? Nah...I'll take the slow boat and enjoy the ride

I know a guy with 2-300's on his party barge, I have no idea what its costs but it will run.

Usually a good estimate is about $1k per hp. So bout $60,000 for the two not counting the cost to mount them.

Other than get to a fishing hole, I have no desire to go fast in a boat.

My daddy once told me he has never caught a fish going 80 mph down the river.
