Some of these new facemasks are getting out of control.

They should require running backs to wear that. Would cut down on facemask penalties and injuries.

Ya, the NFL will have these types banned shortly.
Even though these are probably way safer than the usual face masks since getting a finger caught which could be broken or cause neck injury to the facemasked player would be more difficult/impossible. Should be entertaining explanation if they do that.
