In about 5 or so years:

Drew Brees retires
Sean Payton leaves same year to go to Dallas or to take another gig.

Is there still a waiting list for season tickets? Will every game still be a sell out?

Thats why I hope we draft another potential franchise QB next year? Giants made a nice move grabbing the Syracuse QB in the later rounds, despite Eli being in his prime.

It'll be the Ryan Griffin and Curtis Johnson takeover.

You worry to much, enjoy the moment and go buy your ticket on stub hub like the rest of us.

Brees yes, but we'll see about Payton. If the team overall is solid and were giving him a ton of $$ then he could stay. If we get a solid QB to develop that'll help

One day you and i will be dead. Sooner than we think most likely.
I'll enjoy the golden years of the Saints now and not worry one second on five years from now.

Once Ingram mans up, we can just go after Christian Ponder.

Matt Flynn will be the stop gap until we find a long time replacement.

Why would Payton go to Dallas and have to mold a new QB when he could do it where he's a fricking god?

He is divorced
His kids I believe will be in college by then...

We will pay whatever dallas does.

Of course

The Saints are fricking awesome, and have the best fans ever. They've sold out every game in every stadium that they've ever played in, and that ain't stoppin' anytime soon.

Folks. CSP will never coach the Dallas Cowboys as long as Jerry Jones is the owner.

So unless Jerry kicks the bucket in the next five years, it ain't happening.

What makes you think coach Payton would have any more success at keeping Jones out of his business than Bill Parcells?

and to comment on the thread....

I don't understand why most people have this mindset of CSP leaving... my prediction is that by the time drew does leave, he and loomis will have this franchise in the position to be successful no matter who is playing QB... it could be a situation like Belichek in NE.. where the hell would Belichek go besides New England? anywheres else will be an automatic downgrade..

i guess I'm just saying that I don't think it's completely out of the question for him to retire here
