re: Aikman's take on DeflateGate vs Bountygate - bigcobra
It's because they didn't follow it because it wasn't their team or city
This pretty much sums it up, and thats what pisses me off about it. I dont blame the other fans because if it had happened to another team, I wouldn't have followed it much either. The damage was done as soon a...

re: James Jones released - "we should" - bigcobra
I don't think his numbers from last season warrant the kind of hate from rotoworld. Played with a rookie qb with oline problems and absolutely zero other weapons. ...

re: NFC South Draft Grades - bigcobra
well I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt since you claim a guy that graded out top 5 at his position is more of a back up.
I meant that Armstead's body type and skill set it not one that typically translates to a guards. And as far as Strief, do u think CSP just used our fi...

re: NFC South Draft Grades - bigcobra
Every starter on the oline doesn't have to be an all pro. If unger is healthy and peat can play well at RT, thats enough IMO to shore the line up. Strief seems like a cool guy, but I always kinda thought of him as a backup type player. Was never real comfortable with him starting. But center was by ...

re: NFC South Draft Grades - bigcobra
After watching Jon Gruden break down Vic Beasley's film, I think he has the potential to flop. He may have 9 sacks this season when the falcons have a lead, but how well he'll contribute on every down would concern me if I was a falcons fan. Hes thin and gruden showed multiple plays of him giving up...

re: James Jones released - "we should" - bigcobra
having a savy aging vet like robert meachem didn't prove to help shite either.
Fans, me included, tend to judge wide receivers based solely on statistics. Obviously i dont know the details of the saints locker room, but I assume youngers guys weren't given a chance because they did...

re: James Jones released - "we should" - bigcobra
I think Payton stated that drafting a WR early was on their agenda but the draft didn't play out that way. Anyway, we didnt need to draft a WR unless it was a major stud like Cooper. Our roster is already full of young guys who have great potential. We need a vet. ...

re: James Jones released - "we should" - bigcobra
And its not that I dont love Jones and especially colemans potential. I think toon is garbage. But until they have done it on the field, there is a big uncertainty. Its not like I'm rooting against them, but if they haven't made enough strides to make a difference, James Jones would be a quality vet...

re: James Jones released - "we should" - bigcobra
I would love it just from an experience stand point. Some of you are confusing raw talent/potential for actual production. And there is way more to being a WR than running fast and catching the ball. The ability to comprehend and apply the playbook; the ability to read the hot routes and adjust at t...

re: CSP: "We got some guys around this time last yr we like. We like Toon as well" - bigcobra
Also, nick toon just doesn't do it for me. Does anyone else find he moves awkwardly? Maybe I have an internal bias or something, but I dont see even the potential of being really good. ...

re: CSP: "We got some guys around this time last yr we like. We like Toon as well" - bigcobra
Its not so much the lack of talent but the lack of experience of the WR position in totalality. I'd have loved to get some saavy vet that knows the position. I.e. Brian Hartline. But I'm glad we dont have a diva to deal with. Our WR coach will be reminding them all summer that they're being disrespe...

re: So...who's our receiving threats? - bigcobra
I know Brees makes receivers better and an improved oline and better running attack will also help passing game, but man I wish we would sign a veteran WR. I mean damn we are going in with a lot of questions at that position. I will fap all day long if Brandon Coleman steps up. I was so pumped after...

re: Official 2015 ST Draft Talk - bigcobra
Didn't wanna start a new thread and wasnt gonna read 94 pages. Simple question. Can teams start signing undrafted free agents the minute the draft is over? Or does it start like tomorrow or Monday? I can't remember. ...

re: Your Anti-Favorite First Rd Picks - bigcobra
Agree on no corners. I have no data to back this up, but it just seems like every year there are so many busts at corner. Take best oline available if the pass rushers are gone. Not sold on Dupree either. ...
