Here are a couple of tour dates for the next few days...they are playing a few states they've never played before. Those of you who are close by should try to catch them if you can. :)

Jun 05- Kirk Avenue Music Hall- Roanoke, VA
Jun 06- Ocean Front Bar & Grill- Myrtle Beach, SC
Jun 07- 2013 Riverbend Festival- Chattanooga, TN
Jun 08- Peachtree Tavern- Atlanta, GA

They are at Hill Country BBQ in DC tonight but that is a sold out show.

Fat Man, any chance you'll be able to see them in ATL this weekend?

Pretty pumped to see them for the first time live...

Anywhere to see a typical set list?

The songs covered, in no particular order, are usually:

Gin Smoke Lies
Blue Star
Easton & Main
Shreveport
Wrecked
Good Lord Lorrie
Every Girl
Down on Washington
7&7
Before the Devil Knows We're Dead
1968
Long Hot Summer Day
Morgan Street
Kansas City Southern
Diamonds and Gasoline

And SOMETIMES Bossier City

They used to open with "Gin, Smoke, Lies" but the last few shows I've seen they opened with "Every Girl".

For the encore, Ev will often start off with a solo acoustic version of "The Funeral", followed by full band with "If You're Gonna Play In Texas (You Gotta Have A Fiddle In The Band") and RC with "Whiskey In My Whiskey"...

I'm anxious to hear what you think of the show! They are fantastic live. I know you're going to have a blast

Also, my friends The Dirty River Boys are playing the same venue on Thursday night...you should make that too if you can. They're great.

Not asking you to do any more work..but if you have other suggestions on bands that are playing at Hill Country DC I would gladly take them.

It is great we finally have a venue for country/western in DC for up and coming bands instead of what the the local country stations want to push..

DRB is more Americana/folk but they definitely have some country influence are really really good. Definitely worth checking out.

Looks like Fatback Circus is playing there July 11...I've only seen them once but their bass player also plays in my friend's band, called Sour Bridges...SB is bluegrass so there are elements of that in FC, as well as rock, folk and country. They're really fun.

Fatback Circus- Summertime is Boring

Fatback Circus- Let It Go

Fatback Circus- Dustbowl Blues

You were dead on...they played for an hour and forty minutes.

The venue was packed and they seemed to be pretty happy as they kept stating there first time to DC.

Sounds like they will be coming back

One song I did not see listed they played were Evangeline, and they played Bossier City...

And your encore list was the last three songs they played before the encore. They played one encore song and that was Austin to Ashes.

Great show....

No. There's an event in Louisiana I have to attend Sa night ... but I've booked my room near the Varsity and bought my ticket for that show; planning on buying you and Cotton a cold beer (or getting Cotton punched-out for calling a stranger "Fat Man" which would also be fun).

My son's band played here a week or two ago; cool gig for college bar band.

I've been to many Turnpike shows, including 2 last weekend. <3 them.

I'm so glad you had a good time. They are really something special.

I live in Austin! I'm making a special trip home for TT because it's their first ever LA show and they are super excited. Heard the AA show was awesome, though, I'm sad I missed it. I almost came in for American Aquarium but I got a free George Strait ticket so I did that instead.
