This is really interesting and I'm glad it's happening.

Right, in an effort to make as much money as possible they are promoting conservatism amongst AAs in Baton Rouge, LA.

Sounds like a huge opportunity. How bright you must be for figuring it out.

Damn there is a lot of cynicism in this thread.

This is what really irks me about the Republican Party. You have some conservatives out there trying to do the right thing and other conservatives just roll their eyes and talk about what a waste of time it is.

I guess it's just easier to sit back, watch the spread of progressivism and blame it on free cell phones from Obama.

Well said. Well said indeed.

The reality is, the message is very clear for any minority voter. Vote for what is in your best interest. Period. And considering the abysmal record of the Democratic Party in meeting your needs as a community, make them work for your vote. Right now they do not have to. And it shows in how poorly you are represented.

I have high hopes for that message, but I doubt it will work.

Why would black folks run away from a political movement that promises to give them more free money, more affirmative action, and a FedGov promise that FedGov's six figure salary jobs will have a preference to hire them?

That's like running away from Momma. Not many will be attracted to the idea, because most of us love Momma.

Or you are definitely right about that. You have the African American vote right where you want it.

Detroit, Philadelphia, and Cleveland are calling to say thanks.

I agree. You have to show people how it would be a benefit to them, and the Dems have already filled those corrals. There is nothing you can say to convince many to jump sides. If 50 years of failed "great society" doesn't convince them, nothing will.

I agree. It's a fairly hopeless cause in this respect though I applaud the effort.

Be honest and remain true to the message. Those that are open minded enough to consider it may give it a shot.
