An I the only one that despises Ed Helms? ...move to tv/movie board.

I find him insufferable and the worst part of anything he's in. The only film with him in it I remember enjoying was Cedar Rapids, and that was in spite of him. Thankfully the incomparable John C. Reilly killed it in that flick. Ok rant over, I just finished watching the office finale so I'm angry.

Wouldn't go that far, but he strikes me as someone who has taken a LOT of acting and improv classes and tries too hard to milk every line. I think he's gotten very lucky to find the right people to work with.

Nah, I think Helms is a good actor. Not entirely his fault that Andy Bernard was a tired character near the end of The Office.
He was even pretty damn funny in Cedar Rapids. Perfect for that role as the straight edge guy.

He was GREAT in season 3 of the office when he was a little more subtle.

He had a brief glorious time as the Nard Dog, and just started to completely suck after he found out Angela was cheating on him.
Outside of the Office, I haven't seen him in too many things that I liked. He actually annoyed the piss out of me in the Hangover, so much that I didn't watch the others (or watch the Hangover again). Cedar Rapids was decent. I liked Greg (?) who lives at Home, but I didn't like Helms' character.

He sucks in The Goods, but much like Nard Dawg he's supposed to suck so he pulls it off well.
