5th page before 10am.

After a long night that I think I missed a couple beers one list I thought taking a personal day fr work was in order. Plus the wife is off for three days for inter-semester.

Plan on popping a top before too long and making it to The Bulldog to try the Girl Scout ICS.

4 pages at 1020 and with only one drinker? This could be a record breaking thread.

My friend started his day off like this yesterday morning...it's safe to say that after Umphrey's played their last song, it looked as if he had eaten a handful of Xanax bars

I managed to try just about all the local special releases this week. Hoping this one lives up to it, it has thin mints added so it can't be bad.

The Double Dry hopped Juke Joint I think was the best of the 4 so far. Maybe a little bitter, but awesome hop content.

Really? Suspense and I shared this last night and neither of us were terribly impressed.

I preferred the English yeast version of their pale ale.

The double dry hopped beer had their yeast trub off flavor that I don't like in most of their beers.

I agree with frat that the Coffee bender wasn't very impressive. Certainly not heavy on the coffee flavors. More like a flavorful brown ale.

Was debating on when I wanted to start drinking. Wanted to grab lunch after work, then go for a run, then drink. But Ham is putting pressure on me.
So looks like I'll start when I eat in a few hours. I also wish we had some of that girl scout ICS in Lafayette.

Not the can we opened yesterday. Maybe they forgot the coffee in our batch.

Very true. I know a couple bars said they virtually never sell the voodoo Bengal. It is a bad beer. This did make it better, but still unimpressive.

That's really interesting. We said it was like one of those Starbucks double shots with a bit of porter and carbonation.
