So much for the predictions of him taking over the Weekend Update bit.

so now the cast member with the most seniority is Keenan. Funny he isn't better seeing he has been doing sketch comedy since Nickelodeon.

Stefon was awesome! I hope he comes back occasionally to do it. It won't be the same if Seth Meyers isn't there, though.

I would laugh at the Stefon bits but it was mainly because Hader would always lose his shite while doing the skit. So it wasn't really the character but Hader laughing and breaking character that was funny to me.

Id like to see Hader in more movie roles

He was hilarious in Superbad/Forgetting Sarah Marshal/Hot Rod

Yeah, they would change his lines without him knowing what they changed them to until he saw the cue cards live.

Same here but we watch Sunday night.

but does this show still need to be on? I can't imagine people still tune in for this, but I could be wrong

so said Generation Y, Generation X, Generation Me, Millenials, Generation Z, Baby Boomers, and so on and so on and so on

this sentiment has been repeated countless times, and will continue to as long as the show continues

Big Bummer. Hader brought the joy to the show alot of times.

Since we're on the topic of SNL, does anyone else find Vanessa Bayer nearly impossible to watch? I've never hated an SNL cast member like her.

Been a while since I've seen the movie, but was he really in it?

ETA: Nvm, just got the reference.

two perfect examples of bits that were funny about twice, and should have gone away after that

This BLOWS. Hader is one of the few legit people on the show. Meyers will also leave after the fall to get ready for late night.

I expect Jason Sudeikis to leave as well since he nearly left last summer. Nasim Pedrad was set to leave but NBC didn't pick up the show she was going to star in....so idk what will happen there.

Cecily Strong and Taran Killam need to be the next Weekend Update hosts

Is he or Seth taking Fred Armisen with them? I think if they lose a good one then a bad one must go as well to make up for it.

He would play it off by breathing into his cupped hands, which just made it funnier.
