OB mechanic question

I have an '04 Pontiac Grand Prix, 171,000 miles on it. It recently started running hot. Kept putting water in it and finally replaced the radiator. It did good for 2 weeks and ran hot again, was completely put of water. Obviously it is losing water somewhere. Though it could be a blown head gasket. But the oil looks good, not watert. Any recommendations on what to check next?

Paging greasemonkey.
I'd check the water pump.

When you changed the radiator did you put any coolant in or straight water?

My old Grand Am leaked from the hole in the water pump and the coils on the passenger side floor

When it has coolant in it, does it overheat fairly quickly or take 30 min or so.

I've changed out a shite ton of heater cores in those year Grand Prix/ams.
Also make sure the electric fans are coming on. Could be boiling out of the reservoir if not.

Thermostat... The reason it didnt get hot when you had the heater on is the fluid went into the heater core. Change the thermostat, replace coolant, should be good to go
