The other day was the first time I saw them selling these as individual steaks so I grabbed one as an early week treat.

I prepped it by salting it up about an hour before cooking, washed the salt off then sprinkled with a little salt and pepper before searing on my Kamado Joe, and then letting it go for about 5 minutes.

Might have been the best steak I've ever cooked. I was a little skeptical of the flavor profile changing on the dry aged steak, but I could definitely distinguish the difference.

I have a shitty Rouse's by me. Not a shitty store, but nothing like the one downtown or even the one in Mid-City. I am envious, and hope they change ours up.

Tchoup? I am by the one on Tchoup and think it is just fine, obviously it will never be like the one down town.

Yes you do, but it's better than the Winn Dixie.

The one on Tchoups has potential but its poorly run.

Yeah, I picked up two the other night that were pretty thick and not bone in. They were a special and I got them for $15. I think it was $8.99/lb.
