Chicken left out overnight?

Am I going to die? I baked chicken and forgot to put in the fridge. Left out about 10 hrs

Already cooked, I think it's fine. If not cooked, definitely tossing it in the trash.

Unless you have a weakened immune system, about the worst that would happen is a longer than normal visit to the wast depository.

Most food at a picnic sits out longer than that or as long as that.

I've left things out to cool several times and never been remotely sickened by it. Not to say you won't die this time.

Toss it out. Not worth it. After four hours food sitting out isn't worth eating.

I've had left over fried chicken plenty of times after being left out overnight.

I personally wouldn't mess with it. Then again, I took 2 micro biology course in college. Chicken and Gumbo left out are both terrifying to me.

Yes. We all do.
But in re: to the chicken I would de-bone it and give it to the dogs. It takes a LOT of bacteria to kill a dog.

Debone and make a chicken stew or soup with it. The secondary cooking should kill any pathogens in it. The other option is debone and feed the dog.
