Did anybody watch Anthony Bourdain's new show last night?

I did, there was a thread on the MTV board I think. It was good, but not great. Next week is Koreatown in LA, which could be better.

Pretty much the same theme as No Reservations, just a different name and on CNN now?

Somewhat. He went to Myanmar (Burma) which I have a feeling would have never been done on travel channel.

it was very similar to no reservations, it had a pretty heavy social/political tilt to it, but i think that was mainly because of him being in Myanmar. I hope the show is a huge social commentary and is more just him eating awesome stuff in awesome places

It's a lot more than a food show. Of course that's a significant part of it but it's primarily about society.
