Once you get it popped and cut, shake it a little bit and all the trash will end up on the sides. Then you just take your thumbs and pull it out. Might have to do it a couple times, but it doesn't take long.

I can only use my thumbs?

It's just the easiest. The thumb of your opposing hand bends at a good angle to get around and underneath the oyster to clear the debris.
But if you have super dirty oysters, it's almost impossible to get them truly clean, there is always going to be a little grit.

We had this problem chargrilling them. Ladies were complaining about grit. Me and the other guy shucking were doing the absolute best we could to no avail. Solution, we just held the raw oyster in the shell and ran it under the faucet for a second or two. I know, that's fricked up, and I agree for eating them raw but it worked for grilling them. We were heroes for solving the grit...probably lost a bit of flavor from the liquor, but our dining plan had to work better than it was.

Get a small bucket or large bowl and make it cold salty water. Keeps a little salty flavor but not the true oyster liquor.

If the shucker in front of me washed my oyster I'd walk out.

Agreed, but we were counting on the chargrilling episode to wow the ladies...the problem had tone solved.

Agreed, but I've shucked sacks that were so dirty it was embarrassing not to.
If I was serving them at a place I owned I'd be embarrassed to serve them and wouldn't.
