Friend said he got his done for $400. Is that the standard price? Seems kinda high but I really have no clue. TIA.

That's actually kinda low. Most of those places are $500-600.
If you have an air compressor, you can buy the materials to do it yourself for less than $200.
You can get the bedliner kit at most auto paint stores.
Just make sure it's a kit with a 2 part system - bedliner with catalyst.
Just don't get the roll in Duplicolor DIY from the auto parts stores. Those turn gray in a bout 6 months.

I got my Toyota done for $400 (Rhino). It's peeling already after only two years of light use.

Spend the extra $200 and go with a LineX.

I have LineX in my 05 model. It has held up great with no fading. I bought the truck with it already installed so I cant comment on price.

Had rhino in my truck, took about a year and it started peeling. Got Line-x now, much better had it since 06 ish, and I am much rougher on it than the year with rhino, and no peeling.
Line-x is the way to go, I want to say mine ran $600+ but they had to remove the rhino liner that was already in there.

Does rhino not come with a lifetime warranty like linex?

Got mine for $275 from CSC in BR. It was a black Friday sale and the brand is Armadillo. Its only been a few months but no complaints, especially at that price.

However, it does show the markup that these places charge.

Like everyone has already posted, $400-$500 seems to be the going rate, depending on which one you want. I looked into it when I first bought my truck, but decided on getting a Bedrug instead. It's durable enough for what I need it for and it can be removed.

Depends on what you use it for.

I got rhino in my jeep instead of line-x because it's thicker and more rubbery. It deadens the sound a little better. Had it for years with no problems. Still looked like new when I sold the jeep.

Didn't know either, the guy a line-x told me they didn't do something right before they sprayed it in.

I'm fairly certain my linex has a lifetime warranty, dunno if they still offer it though. I had mine put on in 09 when I bought my truck.

I have no idea why someone would do that to their truck besides other people have it. My truck is an 06 and I beat the shite out of it...not a spot of rust anywhere on the bed. I put a rubber mat in there that I can take out if I go get load of sand or something.

-1 on bedliners...except for those pretty 4 door trucks with chrome everywhere...then I'm just -1 on the whole thing.

Apparently not dirt or anything else you'd shovel out.
