I guess I just don't like pizza enough to spend $400 on an outdoor pizza oven. Or maybe I'm just poor.

Doesnt seem practical for the average person. But that would probably be cool for a bar or hangout type place to have that normally wouldnt have pizza and doesn't want to buy a huge oven.

There is a kit that works witha Webber kettle that looks good. You can buy a kettle plus the kit and be under the cost of one of these. I don't know how good they work, though.

My uncle has one. Pizza is incredible.

But BGE pizza is just as good.

Nah, I agree it seems like a gigantic waste of money.

Someone sent me a link to that Blackstone patio oven earlier this week. It's not badly priced (equivalent with a gas grill), but I don't see the point of a gas outdoor oven. Don't most people have an indoor oven that will produce results equivalent to an outdoor gas oven?

And $400 is el cheapo compared to a wood fired oven.

Pizza on a baking steel cured me of my need to buy a wood fired oven, but I'm still going to build a little cob (earth & straw) oven this fall after I move. Check these out: LINK

Kettle Pizza

I also have no idea how pizzas turn out on this thing... has anyone tried?

That's it. If I still had a kettle, or needed one, I'd spring for that.
