Do you guys have any that you can recommend? Im not looking for a food critic blog or even a professional chef blog. I am looking for a blog that is primarily amateur chef cooking. If anyone knows any professional chef blogs that are overly interesting, I guess I would take a peek at those too.

I like Amateur Gourmet. He has a great restaurant guide as well.

bouille
I first started reading (and enjoying) her posts on Chowhound and egullet, then found her blog.
And she's from south Louisiana.

My favorite is Food52, which is a site dedicated to recipes contributed by users.

This one is really good. I've made quite a few things and the photography is exceptional. It won Saveur magazine award for best food blog one year.

The blog I mentioned, bouille, is listed in your link!
And, um, "hungryone"? Hmm. ;-)
It's not a state secret--that's me.

I've enjoyed your writing for some time! Last summer you offered a class that I would have loved to have taken, just couldn't commit the time to travel to New Orleans a couple of times a week.

I really like this one:

Excerpt of the author:
"Eating well and eating healthy is the same thing," says Dr. Tim Harlan, aka "Dr. Gourmet," who discovered his love of food long before embarking on a successful career as a physician. By the age of 18, Harlan was managing his first restaurant and had learned cooking techniques from some of the finest chefs. He subsequently opened an intimate French Bistro at age 22.
Returning to school to pursue a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Dr. Harlan found his way to medicine. While completing his degree at Emory University School of Medicine, he began writing about the clear link between of food and health, blending his extensive knowledge of food and nutrition with his medical expertise.
Timothy S. Harlan, M.D., is a practicing, board-certified Internist and is currently the Executive Director of the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, Medical Director of Outpatient Clinics, Associate Chief of General Internal Medicine, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Harlan attended medical school at the Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA and pursued his residency at Emory University School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA."
