Grilled cheese with bacon and fried egg. Yes, I could eat this especially late night.

I could eat a sandwich, eggs, or a combination of both for any meal of the day

That's right up my alley. Have to make it. Any tricks on getting the runny egg just right besides not overcooking it? (Novice)

I've made similar sandwiches. Great combo. Do it with good bacon and smoked Gouda cheese and wow.

I haven't made it and I'm wondering how to keep the yolk runny without popping it while you put the sandwich together and turn it. The runny yolk would be key for me.

Dean, I agree that another cheese would be better.

Precisely, if you can make it without burning down your kitchen.

Wow I want that so bad. But I'd use American cheese

I suck at making fried eggs though

wouldn't be too hard on a griddle. Butter two pieces of bread, place then each on the griddle with a slice of cheese, leave them until the cheese starts to melt, place finished egg on one, flip the other on top of it.

This is my normal method of making grilled cheese, minus the egg. Sometimes I put bacon or ham though
