The worst part of the process. These days if I change significant hardware, I'd rather take the time to uninstall my mobo drivers one by one manually than do a fresh install. It takes me a long time (months) to get a new install back to how I like it (settings and software) because I'm too ADD to do it all at once.

My 980 will arrive tomorrow. But water blocks aren't shipping yet so it'll be a while before I get it installed.

LSUToo, what did you do with those 290s?
I have mine in my ITX build but I need a more condensed PSU to finish it. I haven't had a gaming PC in a few months because I have been busy but I put it all together last week only to see that my PSU is too big for my ITX case. I am going to put together a PC this weekend out of some spare parts with my 270 until I can take the time to find a compact PSU that will work.
What I am getting at is I may scrap the whole thing and build new with Nvidia just so I can get the Shield tablet.

Stout, i looked for the 280 and 280x for that price range. I cant find any. Can you link? I will buy a new psu. Unless someone on here wants to sell a used one.

I need help. I have a normal desktop that sits at the F12 screen when I boot the computer and it sits there for five minutes before it finally loads. Is there something in the bios I can change to fix this?

Is there any difference between setting the frame limiter at 60 as opposed to using vsync?

They've been in my main rig with full-cover EK blocks since I bought them. They'll be for sale in the coming weeks. I'm sure I'll take a huge hit on them because of the blocks being near impossible to sell, but I'm glad I only paid $200 for them so it won't be as big of a loss.
When I had the two 7970s, my original plan was to wait for Maxwell to upgrade, but the 290s came along and were hard to resist.
Hopefully I won't be putting the 290s for sale in a ridiculously saturated market. I can imagine 780/780 ti owners trying to sell them are taking the biggest hits. You can buy a 780 Ti for $419 new after rebate and a 780 for under $300.
