From my dad:
One part good tequila - your choice
One part Cointreau
Two parts Rose's lime juice
On the rocks with or without salt

You add a touch of grenadine if you like

This is my go to drink when grilling

Enjoy

yeah....you're the one mainlining Rose's lime piss, and I'm the bitch

get some fresh lime juice, some Grand Marnier, some simple syrup, make a real drink

your recipe sounds like something I'd expect from a vending machine in Tokyo

For our annual beach vacation we rent a house and my parents, brothers and sister all bring their family. My dad makes a big pitcher of this and we put it in the fridge. We drink this margarita the entire time and everyone loves it. It is the perfect summer beach drink.

The women like it with just a splash of grenadine to take the edge off the lime juice.

Pint glass filled 3/4 with ice
Juice from 1/2 lime, 1/2 lemon, 1/4 orange
Fill the rest of the glass with good tequila

How is stu the one that's angry when you tell him to frick off and call him a bitch because he doesn't like your recipe?

Take that juvenile crap to the rant where it belongs.

Cointreau is too expensive and triple sec is crap. I have been using Patron Orange Liquor, A moderate reposado tequila like Herradura or El Jimador and always squeeze fresh limes with simple syrup. Adjust ratios to taste.

Will try that
Sounds good

I once had an orange flavored margarita in Dallas and I bet it was a variation on your recipe
