So like every other board here, information is hard to come by unless you live like a southern redneck.

Vegans can be tough. Even MikeDaTigah uses ketchup on them.

1 onion
2 bell peppers
2 carrots
Oil, S&P, and garlic

Sautee everything for 10 minutes and add red whine slowly, about a tablespoon. Cut up a tomatoe and green onions, add lemon zest and salt, let them sit in fridge for 1 hour.

After sautee is done put on simmer and add green onions and tomatoe, sprinkle parsley over everything. Let simmer for 2 hours and add some spinach with one cup of water. Let cook for 25 min, remove from heat. Go to bedroom, grab gun, and kill yourself because why the frick would you not eat meat.

A hot dog wiener on a stick dipped into corn batter and fried.

Best mostly Vegan food on planet.

This is a good recipe, but I recommend using less tahini.

Jasmine or basmati rice, to which is added sauteed mushrooms, onions, garlic, red & yellow bell peppers, shredded carrots, pine nuts or pecans & a(n) (un)healthy amount of Tony's. Add the shredded carrots last to keep some crunch.

Oh wait. Vegan. No butter to saute all that good stuff in?

Never mind. Sorry.

You're gonna have to give up that American cheese dipped in ketchup sandwich, you know.

I'm no vegan. Just cooked some glorious pork tenderloin this evening.

But I've tried doing vegan breakfast and lunches during the week. And I notice a remarkable difference in how well I feel throughout the day.

There is vegan friendly butter.

OP my favorite thing to make is a bean and vegetable stew with whatever I have around the kitchen . Sweet potato black bean burgers are another favorite. Saute veggies on the stove or roasting them in the oven is always a good choice, too.

The grossest part of being a vegan is the poop. Your poop is grayish and loose looking when you dont eat meat.

Also, you can make a red beans and rice without using meat. Still tastes good.

Most people who post here are nowhere close to being vegan. As to your using the term redneck a few letters of advice, GTFO from this board.

Thai veggie curry...had it last night. Can of coconut milk, red curry paste, and all the veg you can stand (red bell peppers, water chestnuts, mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, etc). A pinch of sugar, a squeeze of lime, plus cilantro, Thai basil, cilantro, and kaffir lime leaves. The coconut milk is so rich you'll never notice the absence of meat.

Vietnamese spring rolls are also very tasty/satisfying when vegan. Ditto for peas n beans like purple hulls and speckled butter beans.

And vegan pizza is easy and awesome. I make cheeseless pizzas at least half the time. Try a pie w tomato sauce, black olives, capers, and thinly sliced garlic....damn tasty.
