(Posted on 2/13/13 at 9:29 am to baytiger) That's fair, I'm admittedly new to beer and just curious what others thought on the DD. I had the St. Arnold Winter Stout this weekend and couldn't finish. Way too bitter on the finish.

Not sure if Breckenridge distributes to Louisiana yet (they didn't 6 months ago when I moved away) but you can pick some up if you ever come to Texas. This post was edited on 2/13 at 9:40 am

Some of my favorites in no order: 1 - Abita Pecan 2 - Abita SOS 3 - Abita Oyster Stout (on tap) 4 - Abita Turbo Dog 5 - NOLA Hopitoulas 6 - NOLA Irish Channel Stout 7 - Bayou Teche Courir de Mardi Gras My favorite Louisiana brew of all time is the now extinct Rikenjaks Old Hardhead. That was a great beer! Wish it was still produced. I also enjoyed the beers from Acadian Brewing which is now closed. Both from the mid 90's.
