10-11: 64.2%
11-12: 52.1%
12-13: 65.4%

Career: 60.3%

HOW-Eva

In January 2013, he is hitting at a 71.6% clip (with 6.2 a/game). That's 12 games and a pretty decent sample size

In his past 8 games he's hit 34/43 (79.1% at 5.375 a/game)

For one, it doesn't look like he has as much of a hitch in his stroke. That helps

Dwight had an 8 game stretch in December where he hit 45/69 FTs (65%). He is still a 50% FT shooter this season and a 58% shooter for his career.

I'm not saying Griffin is as poor a FT shooter as Howard, but bad shooters get on a roll every now and then. Griffin still can't shoot.

Because it makes him useless when the game is on the line.

a. it's an easy area to improve upon

b. it's a huge hole in his game

c. he's on my fantasy team

if he starts hitting the corner 3 with any sort of consistency then the Clipps are world champions a few times over.

for a true power forward, it's about the only big area to improve.

stretching out his range is just a bonus.

When seven footers like Jack Sikma was a career 85%er, Yao Ming a 83%er, Artis Gilmore and Kareem at 71% and 72%..that made millions albeit minor millions in contrast to today's players..

I get disgusted at the ones that will not master the Free Throw..especially sub-seven-footers..it's an uncontested shot..from the same distance and height you've been shooting your entire basketball lives..align to rim..flex knees..elbows in..grip..ball rotation..form..follow through..muscle memory..repetition..rinse and repeat 100,000 times..

How people like Dwight Howard aren't humiliated by this is abominable..embarrassing!

i think his range is more important for the pick and roll....and the corner 3 like you mentioned

there comes a point where coordination is an issue. hand size is also a big issue with many of them
