I don't really want an HD wind waked but will probably buy. Damn you Nintendo.

I just recently beat it for the first time. Emulated it on my computer. It looks fantastic as is if you run it at 1080p with anti-aliasing. I was shocked it was a 10 year old game. The HD remake does have new textures it looks like, so it isn't just blown up to 1080p. I've never owned a copy so I'll likely purchase it.

That game will stand the test of time regarding graphics simply because of the style. Wind Waker is probably one of my personal favorite Zeldas.

dafuq? It was the best Zelda they had released since Majora's Mask. #1. OoT #2. MM #3. TP frick cartoony Zeldas. The mature storylines and dark feel are what grab me. I didn't even bother finishing SS. Bored me to tears.

Dude I agree and I've 100%'d Twilight Princess, but there are a lot of people that didn't like the game because Ganon got brought in at the end. But don't dis Wind Waker. That game was legit as frick.

One of the best things about it. You start the story hating Zant, then you realize the guy you REALLY hate is the one actually behind it all. I LOVED that plot twist. Nothing brings me more joy than stabbing Ganondorf in the forehead/chest. ETA: Also Midna was one of my favorite all-time sidekicks.

The story got really boring when you had to collect triforce shards, but I agree. It's the one cartoony Zelda I can cope with. Mostly because it was directly tied to OoT. I loved the trading sequences and auction house lol.

Boats are for pansies. I hated the look of Wind Waker before it came out, but it was great to play. The sailing is an annoyance and the triforce shards I believe were rushed, which is why it's just a "oh go pull it up here and here" instead of actual dungeons/etc.

My thoughts exactly. I loved playing it, but I HATED the style. Give me dark Zelda any day.

Midna was the best and Fi was by far the worst. Navi never annoyed me, though I do appreciate the meme. Fi is actually more annoying than the Navi meme is made out to be. I wanted to put a bullet through Fi within 5 minutes of the game starting.

I love the way ABCNews reported this. LINK

No one ever gives love to a link to the past, I know it's old but it's still great.

For me it was Majora's Mask and Link to the Past. Link to the Past is probably the most played game in my life. As a kid you know you beat the same game over and over and over. Just doesn't come into mind because the N64 games just stand out so much.

That's something kind of lost today. I don't find games as good for replay as they used to be. Maybe it's just me.

I was in the process of playing in on VC many years ago, but then lightning fried my Wii... Lost that and Super Metroid (few other things, but those are the two I was upset about).
