Boy was time wasting, hazard toe poked the ball out, boy faked like he had been kicked. It's obvious, anybody who disagrees is just looking for a reason to hate Chelsea.

Boy should be banned from the pitch for life, hazard 1 game suspension

you cannot kick the ball on the far side of a person's body without hitting him, and regardless of whether he got the ball or not it's the same as a shitty challenge. If you get the ball but it's still a dangerous challenge you still get a card.

And this wasn't another player it was a member of the staff (regardless of who he is, how shitty he is whatever, THIS DOES NOT COME INTO PLAY) and hazard should be banned accordingly, as well as the boy being disallowed from ball boy duties.

Did you even watch the gif on the last page. He may have made contact with the kid....may. The ball could be poked without contact.

The reason Hazard's act was inexcusable is because it was done to a member of the staff. Whether he intended to hit him or not, whether he hit him at all or whether he hit only the ball has very little to do with what Hazard did wrong and what the consequences will be. He may get a slightly more favorable decision from the FA if they decide his act wasn't done in a cynical manner, but he still kicked, kicked at or kicked in the direction of (whichever you prefer) a teenage ball boy, which wont reflect favorably in the eyes of the FA.

Clearly he kicked the kid and it was his intention. Look at the gif again. He reaches OVER the kid to get the ball (so we know its on the opposite side of the kid from where he kicks him), pulls back, and then whacks him in the ribs. I hope he gets 10 games and I hope the ball boy loses his job.

...what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Funny, but who are you? And try reading the entire thread before posting next time. I said that a different angle showed he was going for the ball. Still deserved the red, though.

No way Hazard should be banned. How else was he going to get the ball, other than kick it out? I'd like to see a video of how the kid ended up on top of the ball, like a dickhead.

There is a gif in this thread that shows it.

It's one thing to drag your feet getting the ball to the opposing team. It's quite another to lay on the ball and not give it to the opposing team. Hazard should have beat the shite out of the little fricker.

he could have tried to reach under him and grab it... that would have been an alternative solution and less risk of accidentally hurting the kid...

He lost his cool and kicked it, bad move... we'll see how this ban shakes out...
