Any of you OB guys have experience with Cabela's Club Visa? Friend put me on it and it looks legit...considering that nearly all my disposable cash goes to hunting, shooting, fishing, beer, women and gas.

It looks legit and a good deal.....give me your pros and cons....thanks

I use American Express Blue Cash..... The AMEX gives you cash back, whereas u can use anywhere.... Not just at Cabelas.

The Blue Cash Card is much better than other cash-back cards, as it has 2% on purchases, 3%-5% on Gas & Groceries (depending on how much you spend every month obviously.

I put almost everything on it..... Considered starting to put my house note on it each month. Over the last 3 years, I accumulated enough cash it paid a months bill for me......

Cash is King!

Im sure Cabelas is great for Cabelas store, I just would rather get cash and decide where I buy, not tied to Cabelas

I have one and I'm satisfied with it. I pay almost all of my bills and daily purchases with it and just pay off the balance each month so I pay no interest and I probably get about $20-$30 a month in points. If you spend $10,000 a year with it you become a signature member and the points go up for purchases at Cabela's. It goes up again after $25,000.

Considered getting one....but figured it would be bad idea, cause I know I would max that baby out the minute I got it!

I had one but could never find anything in Cabela's to use my points on. Ended up buying a kitchen knife set with the points then transferring the balance to the same kind from BassPro only I used the card too much trying to earn points so I cut it up.

I've had one for years. The points add up pretty good.

I think I'm about to switch to an Academy card being that I get Academy a lot more often and their prices are better.

At cabelas 1 point = $.01

Bps 1 pt = $.02 AND you get a $50 gift card after u put $100 on it in the first 3 months.

Seriously considering the bps card for gas, groceries n bills n pay it off at the end of each month

too expensive there for me to routinely buy. I just shop cabelas sales, which are usually great if you hit them right.

I have one and have reached the Signature Black status with them (thanks to tuition ).

I put every purchase on it and pay it off at the end of the month. I average about $200 in points a year and have paid $0 in interest and fees. You only get 1% back in points, unless you buy from Cabelas then you get 2% back or 3% back with black.

You do get a couple invites a year for employee pricing nights and a lot of coupons.
